Our Presence
Choo Clan is an non-profit organization of kinship & friendships. Established over 7 decades ago, it was founded by our forefathers to support one another as they left their hometown in search of a better life. The association fostered a strong sense of community, offering shelter, guidance, and access to job opportunities through its extensive network of members and other clans in Singapore.
As times change, so do the needs of our clan. While we uphold our rich traditions and cultural values, we also embrace modern lifestyles by introducing meaningful and harmonious gatherings. Through these efforts, we continue to strengthen bonds across generations and foster a united, thriving community.

We hold yearly festive and remembrance gatherings for all our Clan members.

Serving with Commitment
With a healthy age range from 30s to 70s, our committee strives to ensure continuity in our clan, extending our 70 over years of history towards the centurion.
The mix blend of age group facilitates the connection of our activities and bonding into the new generation of Choo. Likewise facilitating the growth of leadership renewal.
Our current term stretch from January 2024 to December 2025 and we are welcoming for the committed descendents to join our serving ranks.
Many of our committee members have been serving for over 40 years!

Voices from all age group matters
As we march on with revitalising our clan to touch base with younger members, adding relevancy to their life, we held a workplan seminar to gather their opinions and suggestions to move our clan forward. Before planning for engagement events, it is important for us to hear from the youth to know what appeals to them.
